Since my cat sleeps on the bed and I thought it would be easier to wash, I bought this blanket. I was impressed by the reviews, but I don\’t understand how they got them. I liked it at first. It has a good weight and color. It doesn\’t cover the bed because it has shrunk 10 inches. I washed it more carefully than I was told to. I hung it up even though it said it could be machine dried. I put the dryer on for a few minutes because it was still damp. The picture shows how much it has shrunk. It covered the entire bed before I washed it. I bought another one because I really liked it. I didn\’t put that one in the dryer because it was too small. I don\’t think this blanket is a good idea.

I like the blanket. I would have thought that winter would be included in the \”all season\” blanket. They might have thought of a milder winter closer to the equator. It will be part of my blanket scheme. I mostly pick this blanket from the price range because of it\’s color. It would have been nice to have an all season blanket.

I didn\’t know how light it would be. I like a little weight to my blankets, but it\’s a beautiful color, well made, and very comfortable.

The plum is a rich purple. The blanket is large enough to not stretch out. The weave is tight. I washed it in cold water and dried it low. It shrunk a small amount. I don\’t think it\’s a big deal as the bed it\’s on doesn\’t have thick mattresses. You might want to size up if you do. I am buying more for guest beds after buying a great purchase.

It\’s not too hot and it\’s not too cold. It has a strange smell when you first open it, but a good washing takes care of that. On warm nights when a heavier blanket is too hot and just a sheet is not enough, it should serve it\’s purpose.
