This is a good quality blanket. I needed a blanket that was light in weight. I liked cotton blankets. I wasn\’t sure about buying this one because of the reviews that said it shrinks and/or discolors. I\’m glad I didn\’t listen to that review. My blanket is very clean. It didn\’t get a pill or a pull. It is not as soft as I would like it to be.

Did not fade much in the first wash, put out a lot of fiber in the dryer, so clean your dryer screen during drying to prevent overload. The blanket is a little shorter than our other twin blankets, but it makes a decent mid layer in your covers.

Since my cat sleeps on the bed and I thought it would be easier to wash, I bought this blanket. I was impressed by the reviews, but I don\’t understand how they got them. I liked it at first. It has a good weight and color. It doesn\’t cover the bed because it has shrunk 10 inches. I washed it more carefully than I was told to. I hung it up even though it said it could be machine dried. I put the dryer on for a few minutes because it was still damp. The picture shows how much it has shrunk. It covered the entire bed before I washed it. I bought another one because I really liked it. I didn\’t put that one in the dryer because it was too small. I don\’t think this blanket is a good idea.

The plum is a rich purple. The blanket is large enough to not stretch out. The weave is tight. I washed it in cold water and dried it low. It shrunk a small amount. I don\’t think it\’s a big deal as the bed it\’s on doesn\’t have thick mattresses. You might want to size up if you do. I am buying more for guest beds after buying a great purchase.

I wanted the blanket to be ivory. The purple blanket is shown as an ivory one. It is very confusing. I took a chance and ordered the one with the picture of the purple blanket. I received the ivory one. It\’s lovely. It came out perfect after I washed it. Didn\’t shrink. Didn\’t lose much. I\’m very pleased with the blanket, but you need the word purple with it, and the word ivory with it.

It\’s not too hot and it\’s not too cold. It has a strange smell when you first open it, but a good washing takes care of that. On warm nights when a heavier blanket is too hot and just a sheet is not enough, it should serve it\’s purpose.
